The Producers - Theatrical Production at Grand 1894 Opera House

Why see The Producers - Theatrical Production?

WHERE DID WE GO RIGHT?

"Under the right circumstances, a producer could actually make more money with a flop than he can with a hit!" Well, thats the plan for former Broadway Kingpin Max Bialystock and mousy accountant Leo Bloom. This dynamic and hilarious duo set about pulling off the ultimate scheme, starting with finding the world's worst show, and eventually settling on 'Springtime for Hitler: A Gay Romp with Adolf and Eva at Berchtesgaden,' an equal opportunities offender written by Franz Liebkind, ( a former Nazi with a passion for pigeons,) that can't possibly be a smash...Only something goes very wrong, the audience love it!

In 2001, superstar comedian Mel Brooks bought his adaptation of his own 1968 cult movie of the same name, to Broadway, breathing new life into the madcap caper with Nathan Lane and Broderick as Max and Leo. An overnight success, the production won a staggering 12 Tony Awards and became a modern classic that is still performed all over the world today!

With a score of unforgettable songs including, 'Springtime for Hitler,' 'I Wanna be a Producer,' and 'Heil Myself', The Producers is a guaranteed laugh-out loud outing for all fans of musical theatre, old and new!
